With extra thickness around the outside circumference of the inner tube, Tioga Thorn Resistant inner tubes are the last layer of defence between glass and thorns, and a flat tyre. 

Tioga Thorn Resistant Tubes differ from some others in the fact that they have thicker rubber beneath the tread of the tyre than in the inside (against the rim) to keep the weight to a minimum, although the thickness is still greater than a standard Butyl inner tube - great for defense against pinch-flats caused by pot-holes and kerbs etc.

• These tubes are Puncture Resistant - Not Puncture Proof. While they will resist the penetration of glass, thorns and other sharp objects, they will not stop everything from getting through.
